My passion is very long rooted and begins even before I can remember. My mother and father found it imperative to read to me before I could open my eyes. Now, in my twenties, I love everything concerning reading, the process of novel writing, as well as preserving vintage ephemera.

Books and paper have a special place in my heart. My wedding was decorated with vintage book pages, I have a collection of over 300 books, and I'm a published author. To say I'm obsessed with the beautiful look of the written word would be correct!

I started on etsy in 2013 with my first vintage shop at The Book Cottage (TheBookCottage.etsy.com) where I began selling vintage children's books. I loved it, and realized my passion was connecting people with long lost items. In 2014, I began Jessica Ann Design with hand-drawn illustrations turned into die cut stickers (JessicaAnnDesign.etsy.com). I then quickly realized my stash of vintage sheet music, advertisements, postcards, and other ephemera was getting out of hand. Thus Retro Papers was born.

Posy Patterns (PosyPatterns.etsy.com) is my most recent shop - giving shoppers a wonderful look into the history of fashion with unique sewing patterns. This shop is growing a little every day and I would love to see you pop in and look around!
